Camp Host Couple (or Single)
We are looking for a dependable, honest and self-motivating camp host couple (or single) to stay right on the beautiful North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River in Kingston, Idaho in exchange for a light workload and possible monthly wages. This position is ideal for a couple with their own RV interested in a quiet beautiful scenic setting, surrounded by the Coeur d’Alene Mountains with lots of outdoor activities including: fishing, kayaking, river rafting/floating, hunting, hiking, ATVing and site seeing. The RV park has 63 RV spaces, 1 cabin, a small country store and bathrooms/shower and laundry. Most of our spaces are rented nightly with a few full time residents. The work required includes,
Tending the store counter. Completing sale transactions and customer reservations and check-ins.
Answering park telephone calls.
Welcoming guests and answering guest questions.
Taking reservations through online booking software. Training will be provided.
Insuring cleanliness of restrooms, showers, laundry area and store.
Delivery of wood and ice to RV sites.
Monitoring parking and park access fee requirements.
Cleaning and preparation of RV sites including fire pit cleanup, pet dropping removal, garbage pickup.
Watering lawn areas.
Filling propane tanks.
Positive outcome conflict resolution to include making sure park rules are followed by campers and guests.
Mowing and weed eating grass areas weekly.
Tracking store inventory and order requests.
You will be part of a camp host team working scheduled shifts with ample time off to enjoy the river and area. This position begins April 1st and ends October 31st, but a shorter duration could be discussed for busy season only. Site hosts work a min of 20 hrs/wk each (including weekends & holidays). Hourly pay provided for additional hours. Honesty & dependability are critical for this position.

This position is ideal for a couple or single with their own RV interested in a quiet beautiful scenic setting, surrounded by the Coeur d’Alene Mountains with lots of outdoor activities including: fishing, kayaking, river rafting/floating, hunting, hiking, ATVing and site seeing. Working directly with owners to insure guests’ positive experience.
Managing store activities including:
Tending the store counter.
Completing sale transactions and customer reservations and check-ins.
Tracking inventory and updating order lists.
Managing store staff schedules and store hours of operation.
Supervising camp hosts.
Answering park telephone calls.
Welcoming guests and answering guest questions.
Taking reservations through online booking software. Training will be provided.

You will be the key of a camp host team working scheduled shifts with ample time off to enjoy the river and area. This position begins April 1st and ends October 31st, but a shorter duration could be discussed for busy season only. The Camp Manager works a min of 40 hrs/wk each (including weekends & holidays). $1500-$2500 per monthly pay offered DOE. Honesty & dependability are critical for this position.
